Video/Sound artist 99Hooker has teamed up with Flash programmer Petra Farina to create a Sudoku game based on Sol Lewitt’s mixture of conceptualism and the abstract grid. The game of Sudoku uses a process of elimination to position the correct number in the correct square on a grid of 81 (9 boxes of 9 squares and 9 rows of 1-9). Sol Sudoku offers the viewer the chance to create their own mesmerizing and beautiful "video quilts" as they play the game, adding their own musical background.
